It is important to ensure you choose the correct Quad Bike for the purpose intended, for example, if you intend to use the ATV purely for recreation you should choose a recreational vehicle.
The most important points to consider when choosing a Quad bike are:
The age of the intended rider is key in deciding on the physical size of the quad bike and the engine capacity or "cc". Some models of quad bike may have special features designed around "age", these feautures can make choosing the right vehicle easier for you.
Using our 16 years of experience within the industry GMX motorbikes have found the following information to be useful as a guide to choosing the correct engine size for your age category. This guide is at the discretion of the intended rider/parental guardian.
49cc - This engine size will suit riders from the age they are able to ride, we recommend parental discretion. We provide two models in this size, "the starter" is the basic model and "the Junior" is an upgrade with an electric start and a remote kill switch for safety.
70cc - We have found this engine size to suits younger riders from the age they can ride up to an age of 12. Our 70cc "Ripper JNR" model has modern safety features and is a perfect model for younger kids looking to get a little bit more bang for their buck. Alternatively the 110cc is an upgrade, same frame, bigger longer lasting engine.
110cc - Our 110cc "Ripper" is designed around the same frame as the 70cc, it can be used for young kids with more skill. Alternatively you can govern the speed for this model to suit the rider and then open it up again when the rider is more confident.
125cc - We have a range of 125cc quads designed for different purposes. "The Mudder" is a utility style vehicle, it has a lower top speed but a higher load capacity. "SportsZilla" is an upgrade from "The Ripper" it boasts good acceleration and a high top speed for young adults. "The Beast" is a heavy duty sports model with a semi automatic transmission, this allows for more control over the powerful sports engine.
The size of the intended rider can limit choice, for example, someone smaller than average for their age may require a quad bike recommended for someone younger than them and vise versa for a rider that may be taller/larger than average for their age.
It is import to consider each model carefully before making a choice of quad bike based on your size and the size of the ATV. Different models of quad bikes are designed for their purpose, for example, one model may have a smaller engine incorporated into a much larger frame. Some models may have a large engine carefully designed around a much more compact framework. In regards to size, the frame design is an important factor and is therefore at the riders discrection.
Weight is another important factor to consider when choosing a quad bike. Each model of quad bike produced has unique specifications regarding the weight of the rider and maximum load the vehicle can carry. Not only should you make sure to comply with the weight restrictions of the vehicle you choose, but it is also advisable that you choose a model that you won't outgrow within a short period of time.
Aside from the important points to consider above, there are different quads available for different purposes. Its highly recommended that you choose a quad that best fits the purpose you intent to use it for, for example, if you require a quad bike for a farm, a sports model or a model only fit for recreational purposes.
Some models of quad bike will give you product specific information that can also help determine your choice. You may find a size range and engine size that suit your needs, but you might still be left with a broad range to choose from. Some models will give you information regarding ground clearance and size of wheel base, you may also be given information about performance of engine, tires and suspension. This information can really help to match the quad for your needs
Intended use;
If you plan to use your quad bike in entirely undeveloped terrain or "off road" you can pick a model which offers specific suspension to deal with the terrain, or you may want to choose a model which offers bigger ground clearance to enable you to pass over uneven terrain. You may be choosing a vehicle for moving between different areas of your own off road area, in this case it may be that you choose a model of ATV that offers a more comfortable ride for dirt tracks, the model may not require such a large engine, may have a larger wheel base for comfort or may even be equipped with a utility bed for the packing of some gear for your journey.
Terrain;
Each model of quad bike can have entirely different features to suit different terrains. Some ATV's will have Tires for extreme terrain, others may have larger tires for extra grip on existing dirt roads. Generally the intended terrain will determine the comfort of your quad bike. If you are using your ATV on dirt roads you can afford some comfort and accessories, and if you intend to go into the wild with your ATV you will have to choose performance features that suit.
Periods of intended use;
A determining factor to your choice may be how long you intend to use the quad bike. If you are going to make long journeys between destinations you may choose a larger engine provided that it is suitable for your size, age etc. This can help conserve fuel and reduce wear on the engine of your vehicle.
The choice you make for what type of quad bike is suitable for you should be made carefully. The choice is entirely personal and care should be taken to consider all factors long term and short term.
GMX Motorbikes provide the above information at the intended riders discretion. Children under the age of 16 should be supervised by an adult at all times. We will not be held liable for your decision, and/or any incidents that may occur as a result of your choice.
GMX Motorbikes recommend the use of all applicable safety gear when using any ATV vehicle
Using our 16 years of experience within the industry GMX motorbikes have found the following information helpful as a guide to choosing the correct engine size for your age category. Your choice of engine size is personal and as such, you may find that a younger rider with more skill will require a larger engine size or vise versa.
The age of the rider is vital in deciding on the size of the Dirt Bike and the engine capacity or "cc". Some models of dirt bike have features designed around age, these features can make choosing the right dirt bike easier for you.
49cc - GMX recommend this engine size for riders from the age they are able to ride, or any younger riders lacking experience, we recommend parental discretion.
70cc - This engine size suits younger riders from the age they can ride up to an age of 12.
110cc - This is an engine size that we recommend for young riders developing their off road skills and as a guide line we suggest riders should be over 10.
110cc and up - We advise that riders choosing quad bikes of this size should be over 12 and have the relevant skills to operate such a vehicle.
The size of the rider can limit choice. Someone smaller than average for their age may require a dirt bike recommended for someone younger than them and vise versa for a rider that may be taller/larger than average for their age.
Most models of dirt bike provide seat height in their vehicle specifications, as a rough guide seat height should match your hip height. This is because when you sit on a dirt bike the suspension will compress and bring the seat height to a comfortable level. You may find that depending on your skill level and experience that you feel more comfortable with a slightly higher or lower seat height.
Weight is an important factor when choosing a dirt bike. Each model of dirt bike available has unique specifications regarding the maximum load the vehicle is intended for. GMX Motorbikes recommend you comply with the weight restrictions of the vehicle you choose, but it is also advisable that you choose a model that you won't outgrow too quickly.
Skill level is vital for your choice of dirt bike model. There is more skill involved in riding off road on a dirt bike compared with other ATV's. This is due to the need to remain balanced on the vehicle at all times. If you have little or no experience is this activity, then it is advisable to seek tuition, however one thing that may help is the choice of manual or automatic. An automatic model can take some pressure off the rider when learning or developing skills, having an automatic dirt bike will allow you to focus on developing your skills off road and remaining in control of your balance and the dirt bike itself.
Other determining factors that may influence your choice of dirt bike is the way in which you intend to use it. Different models of dirt bike have different specifications for suspension, seat height, tire type and different performance ranges that determine exhaust system, engine size and power.
The choice you make for what type of dirt bike is suitable for you should be made carefully. After matching your physical needs to dirt bike size, the choice is entirely personal, GMX advise that you consider all factors long term and short term.
GMX Motorbikes provide the above information at the intended riders discretion. Children under the age of 16 should be supervised by an adult at all times. We will not be held liable for your decision, and/or any incidents that may occur as a result of your choice.
Each style of bike has been designed for different purposes. There are different features that will help you decide on the style you want, but you should base this on the purpose of your intended use. Below there is a list of different styles and their key features.
Road bikes
Road bicycles are designed with speed and endurance in mind. Road bikes are light in weight and very technical in terms of gears and the necessary equipment required. The main features of road bikes are clip in pedals, a drop down handle bar causing the rider to lean forward to become more aerodynamic and no suspension for maximum conversion of energy.
Mountain bikes
Mountain bikes are good all rounder bikes, this is because mountain bikes have been designed for versatility, they can adapt to differing conditions and terrain. Mountain bikes have extremely strong frames, they are built to last and provide comfort for the rider. The main features of a mountain bike are its suspension, shock absorbing frame and rigid tyres for better grip on dirt trails.
Single Speed or Fixie bikes
Fixie bikes are similar in design to road bikes. Single speed bikes are becoming more and more popular and they are great city bikes that are designed for easy mobility in tight streets and corners. They are best suited for flat roads as they have no gears and a fixed wheel, meaning that if the wheel is spinning then so are the pedals. The main features of a Fixie are its fixed wheel, no gears, reliability and efficiency.
BMX bikes
BMX bikes are designed for recreation, there are many different models with specific features for a diverse range of activities. BMX bikes have strong, light frames and are designed with easy mobility for tricks and jumps. There are three main styles and designs of a BMX bike, they relate to its most popular applications Jump, Race and Freestyle. The main features of a BMX bike are its high performance brakes, single gear and accessories that assist with tricks.
Lowriders
Low rider bicycles are similar in function to Cruiser bicycles. The geometry of the frame is designed to make the rider feel more comfortable, the seat, handlebars are ergonomically designed to suit the frame. The main difference between a cruiser and a lowrider is style, generally lowrider bicycles are more stylised and have slightly higher handle bars.
Retro bicycles
Retro bikes are all about style, fashion and practicality. They are similar in function to cruiser bikes and lowriders, the main difference being that these bikes are currently extremely popular. They also have few or only one gear for a controlled and cruisy ride. Retro bikes generally have sprung seats made wider for comfort, they also come with chain guards to protect your clothes. Retro bikes make more a comfortable and fashionable commute, or even just a ride along the beach.
Hybrid bikes
Hybrid bikes are a cross between road bikes and mountain bikes. The hybrid is built with a strong and durable frame for endurance but also has the geometry of a more comfortable bike. Hybrid bikes feature flat comfortable handlebar, large wheels, suspension forks and a comfortable seat.
Cruiser bikes
Cruiser bikes are designed for comfort and style. The geometry of the frame is designed to make the rider feel more comfortable, the seat, handlebars are ergonomically designed to suit the frame. These bikes look great and are extremely fun to ride. The cruiser bike is best suited for on road or paved path riding they have less gears or only one gear for cruisy cycling. Cruiser bikes boast large seats, high handlebars and stylish designs.
Fold Up bikes
There is a diverse range of fold-up bikes, many with unique features and benefits. Some fold-up bicycles are meant to fold strictly for storage, while other fold-up bicycles are meant to fold compact enough to be used by the commuter on public transport. As the presence of fold-up bikes continues to grow, more and more people are discovering the benefits of fold up bikes.
Balance Bikes
Balance bikes are designed as a training aid for kids before they are ready to ride a bike with pedals. A balance bike will help your child become accustom to sitting on a bicycle and moving around whilst still having total control by being able to reach the ground.
Kids bikes
Kids bicycles can come in all the models listed above but are generally just designed to suit the size of children ready to ride bikes. Depending on size, some models may come with stabilisers, otherwise stabilisers can be fitted to most bicycles.
It is important to buy the right size bicycle for your physical size, getting this wrong can be dangerous, uncomfortable and can cost you money if your purchase ends up being inappropriate.
We have provided a few charts to help you determine which size bike is right for you depending on which type of bicycle you intend on buying.
When buying a bike you may see the same model in different materials, steel or alloy, this refers to the material the frame is constructed with. Generally steel is cheaper, if you only intend on using your bike occasionally for recreation, then steel is an acceptable material. Alloy is a far more lightweight material, it is therefore more expensive to manufacture and products assembled using alloys are higher range more expensive items. The advantages of buying a bike with an alloy frame is weight and energy conversion, if you are training and/or competing it would be advised to use an alloy frame. The advantages of a steel frame are that steel is far more hardwearing and slightly more comfortable for longer journeys, they are less likely to split and crack and it is also easier to repair in event of a crash.
Generally, carbon fibre frames are lighter than most other frames. The money you spend on a carbon frame will ultimately determine how much it weighs, however an expensive alternate frame could weigh less than an inexpensive carbon frame. In order to create lightweight frames, tube thickness is varied throughout the length of the tube. Tubes will be thicker in areas that are under heavy strain and thinner in areas that are not. Carbon frames currently possess the longest fatigue life of any material used in the manufacturing of bicycles today.
Each brand of Scooter available has a similar price range. Within each brand you will find budget scooters and top end scooters. Your choice should be based around how much you will use your scooter and what you will do with it. If you are going to ride once a week for a short time, it wouldn't be appropriate to spend $400 on a scooter and vise versa
$0 - $50 - As a general rule this budget will cover low range kick scooters and scooters designed for kids, these scooters might lack quality aspects and features that aid you in the usage of the scooter like quality bearings and adjustable bars.
$50 - $100 - In our experience this budget will get you started. You can get a good quality scooter for general purpose. This range may get you a scooter that includes one or two features like good bearings or specialised wheels.
$100 - $200 - This budget is probably the most common. Within this range you can get a scooter that is specific for your needs. You might pick a scooter that has a certain deck and wheels, or adjustable handles and foldable bars for transport. This is the range you should use if you know you can ride a scooter and you want to make riding part of your everday life. This range will normally contain high quality scooters with high spec parts.
$200 and above - This range will cover all of the best brands, you may not get lots more for the money you spend but the scooter you get will be a popular model. Some models may have all of the features you could want, others may just be adding cost for their brand name. We advise that if you plan to shop for scooters within this budget, you should check all the features and specifications for each model and make sure you get some bang for your buck.
Its important to make sure that a rider will have enough space to stand on the scooter comfortably, even during long rides. The positioning of the handlebars are also very important. When standing upon the scooter, riders must ensure that the handlebar is located in a position that is both comfortable and practical. A lot of modern models, widely available today, have feature that will allow you to adjust the height of the bars to suit the individual.
There is an array of different brands of scooter around, and each brand supply a range of different models. When choosing the features your model comes with, it is advised you keep a few things in mind. You need to decide how you intend to use the scooter, if you will use it more for transport you may wish to get a model with a bigger deck and wheels for comfort, or if you wish to hit the skate park it would be advisable that you source a model designed with that past time in mind.
The cost of your skateboard is entirely personal, as long as the skateboard is good quality and fulfils all of your personal requirements the price you spend should correlate with your needs from the board, as opposed to brand name. Good quality boards start at around $50 but if you have very specific needs from a board you can spend as much as $300.
The size of your skateboard should be based on the size of you, if you are tall and have large feet you might want a skateboard that accommodates this. Likewise if you are smaller you can use a larger skateboard, but something that suits your feet and more importantly your footwear might feel more comfortable.
The size of trampoline should be decided based on the area available for the trampoline. There should be a "safety zone" all the way around the trampoline, this should be around 5-10". Age Is another factor when choosing a trampoline size, for example you wouldn't buy a small trampoline for a fully grown male adult.
Trampolines with springs generally have better tension and are more durable. This will allow you to use the trampoline in a more advanced way for longer periods of time, so for example, if you want the trampoline for an adult intending to exercise with the product, springs might be preferable
Springless trampolines are designed with safety in mind, they use a complex elastic system to give tension and reduce the possibility of getting caught in any springs. If you were buying a trampoline for a child/children, it may be worth thinking about springless trampolines.
Another thing to consider is that all our trampolines come with safety matting for peace of mind.
The cost of your trampoline is entirely personal, if you intend to use the trampoline constantly, it may be worth spending more for a bigger trampoline that can cope with the load you intend to subject it too. If the trampoline is for occasional usage only, then something smaller may be acceptable, as long as your size doesn't conflict with the working load of the trampoline.
Shape can affect the "bounce" of the trampoline. Circular trampolines are generally the cheapest and a good quality one can be used for exercising and recreation without any problem. Octagonal trampolines allow for a balanced bouncing experience, this can increase your accuracy when using a trampoline for sports and fitness.
Ensuring all these things will undoubtedly lead you to a trampoline purchase that is safe, long lasting, satisfying and enjoyable.

Be sure to provide one or two phone numbers in case the carrier needs to notify you to arrange delivery. All deliveries are made from Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. Our carriers are unable to give specific times for delivery.
2.1. Front Entrance Delivery
Deliveries are strictly door-to-door services; the courier will deliver to your front door location or to an accessible ground-floor entrance. Couriers are not obligated to enter any premises or homes and will enter at your discretion.
2.2. Non Ground Floor Deliveries and Steps
Due to Australian Occupational Health and Safety regulations deliveries above or below ground floor are at the carrier's discretion and are not guaranteed. This includes (but not limited to) steps that are immediately outside the premises, which are required to climb in order to gain access to the property.
2.3. No-one Home
If the courier arrives with your goods after pre-arrangement and no-one is present to receive them and an 'Authority to Leave Unattended*' note has not been left they will return the freight back to the courier's depot. A calling card will be left at the premises for you to arrange the redelivery or collection. In this case you will be liable for the re-delivery charges. If the order is subsequently cancelled and returned to the supplier, you will be liable for all carriage charges as well as a 15% restocking fee.
*please note that we do not recommend authority to leave unattended and the courier may also wish to decline the request as all our deliveries require a signature on delivery.
3. Large items (over 40kg)
Due to Australian Occupational Health and Safety regulations someone must assist the driver with unloading the item if it is too heavy to be moved by one person. If no one is available to assist, a tail gate truck will be required to unload the item. The tail gate service may incur an additional charge. Please contact us via email or phone if this is required.
4. Short Deliveries and Damage to Packaging
You are responsible for counting the number of cartons you receive and ensuring that this amount matches the amount on the carrier's delivery note. If this amount does not match what you have received, you must note the number of cartons you received on the carrier's delivery note.
Damage to packaging must be stated on the delivery note next to your signature. You must cross out "delivered in good condition" from the carrier's delivery note (if applicable). If the item has been damaged you are required to put a ticket through our support center with a description of the damage and photos attached. The support team will contact you within 48 hours. For peace of mind we offer shipping insurance which covers any damage that may occur while in transit.
Short deliveries and damage to packaging must be reported to Go Easy Australia within 2 working days of signing. Neither Go Easy Australia nor the delivering carrier can be held responsible for short deliveries, damages to packaging and/or items if you do not note them on your delivery note. This does not affect your statutory rights in the event of the goods being faulty.
5. Drop Shipped Items (Direct from supplier)
Some items may be shipped directly from a supplier. These items may have a 48 hour dispatch time, and can be expected to have a delivery time of 3 to 10 days depending on delivery destination.
6. PO Box and GPO Box Addresses
Delivery cannot be made to PO Box or GPO Box addresses, unless Australia post has been the selected delivery service.
7. Will Not Fit
If it is found that the product 'will not fit' through/around any doors/stairwells etc. and the product is subsequently returned, you are responsible for all outward and return carriage costs and a 15% restocking fee is applicable.
8. Damage in transit or Missing components
Items damaged in transit will not be covered, unless you have chosen to pay the shipping insurance at the time of purchase. The Go Easy Australia transit insurance covers any damage whilst the item is in transit.
If shipping insurance has been purchased and you have received your item damaged or has missing components.
A claim will need to be put through the support center within 3 days of receiving the order and proof of purchase and condition photos are required to be submitted with the claim.
If this is not done within the 3 day period of receiving, Go Easy Australia has the right not to accept your claim.
